Ecological camp in the Ustyansky district of the Arkhangelsk region as a part of RSEU’s campaign"Energy efficiency – the largest power plant of Russia"
The months campaign "Energy efficiency – the largest power plant of Russia" in the Arkhangelsk region came to the end in June ,2014 with a five-day ecological camp. The members of five public organizations, representatives of ecovillages, adults and school students held a seminar, an art action, brain storm, a round table, created a training power center for local population in the village Verhniye Berezniki. The participants of the campaign put an oak grove on the bank of Ustye river, landing more than 20 kilograms of germinated oak acorns collected in parks of St. Petersburg in the fall 2013.

RSEU’s campaign in the Ustyansky district of the Arkhangelsk region actively proceeded during all the academic 2013-2014 year. The representatives of local settlements, teachers and school students, representatives of small business and members of five NGOs were the initiators and active participants: Arkhangelsk and Bryansk RSEU offices, Bryansk public organization "Viola", nonprofit partnership "Regional Network of the Sustainable development of the village", Arkhangelsk regional youth ecological public organization ETAS. The participants wanted to show to the residents of the Arkhangelsk region some huge perspectives probably in the energy efficiency development was the main goal of the campaign. They made the analysis and monitoring of different types of local business, generalized some possibilities of traditional knowledge, showed to school students and youth that development of energy efficiency will exactly help to keep climate, natural landscapes and will create future perspective workplaces to prevent youth migration to large cities.

The collected materials and experience of the Campaign development will be used by the heads of ecological movements of the Arkhangelsk region during the summer "Schools of a young owner of ecovillage".
